Green Anglicans report on the web that a power shower uses 50 gallons of water in 10 minutes. And the least water use in food production seems to be to produce a cup of tea. Lifestyle approval! Tea is the staple if the Anglican diet. And the dribbly showers the Church of England provides would struggle to pump out 50 gallons in a day.

Missing the cycling. Train today. And no bike until tomorrow. Thursday a 20 mile walk visiting rural churches for pilgrimage and prayer.

Journalists ask why the bike? Well, I have an obsession that we have created a category called the “spiritual” which is all about a hands together and eyes shut kind of religion. True prayer involves body mind and spirit. All three. A Trinity even.
