Now in Pewsey Station. A plaque rightly announces it won the best restored station award in 1986. Pewsey has just been awarded a place in the best ten places to live in the country. Easy to see why.
Today Salisbury by train, and then bike in the City. It’s the Brompton today. 3 speed Sturmey Archer gears, but folding. So the bus out to Pewsey was easy enough. Then a couple of miles in the bike. Back to the station, home to Warminster, change at Westbury.
Feeling the effort a bit today. The problem is that using bike bus and train makes for long days.
Nevertheless, I spent the evening with an excellent group of clergy and church leaders. Very encouraging. We are lucky to have such good people serving church and community.
Total 1402: train 1072, bike 263, bus 48, walking 19.
